Bill Haney

Bill Haney, age 81, of Benton, Il., passed away at 1:00 a.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Heartland Regional Medical Center of Marion, Illinois.

His wishes are to be cremated with no public services.

Bill was born on January 14, 1943, in Benton, Illinois, the son of William Haney and Thelma (Burton) Haney.

Bill was a retired factory worker.

Surviving are his siblings: Ronnie Haney, Earlene J. Spetter, Brenda Khankan, and Sandra Majdich. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Linda Kraft and Carole Rice, and a niece Cindy Darnell.

Leffler Funeral Home of Benton is in charge of the arrangements.
