Billy D Williams

Billy D. Williams, 74, of Benton; died at 4:45 p.m. Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011 in the Helia Healthcare Center of Benton.
Mr. Williams' wishes were to be cremated. Per his wishes there will be no services. Burial will be at a later date at the Alwood Cemetery in Piedmont, Missouri. Leffler - Poulson Funeral Home of Benton is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Williams was born on June 11, 1937 in Williamson County, Illinois, the son of Joe Burl Williams and Louise (Burgess) Williams. He married the former Mary Lynch and she preceded him in death in May 1984.
Mr. Williams was a retired self-employed farmer, and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his companion of 25 years: Ruth Chilton of Benton; a sister: Peggy Williams of Pittsburg, IL; two brothers: Joe Williams of Benton and Jerry Williams of Gerald, MO; a step-daughter: Linda Tooke of Piedmont, MO and several nephews and nieces.
