Denton Warren Perryman

Denton Warren Perryman, age 68, of Carbondale, passed away at 8:39 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Integrity Healthcare of Carbondale, Illinois.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the Plaster’s Cemetery North of Thompsonville, with Rev. Rick Fowler officiating. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Arrangements are with the Leffler Funeral Home of Benton, Illinois.

Denton and his twin brother Darrell were born on December 21, 1953, in Taylorville, Illinois; the twin sons of James Riley “Vernie” Perryman and Flodine (Abbott) Perryman.

He was a former professional model, waiter, and bartender.

Surviving is a daughter Daury McGuire Perryman of California; his aunts: Linda Ray of Thompsonville, Illinois, and Joyce Fryman of Benton, Illinois; several cousins, and many friends and acquaintances.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his twin brother Darrell Perryman.

Memorial contributions may be made to Plasters Cemetery; and will be accepted at the graveside service, or may be mailed to Plasters Cemetery, in care of Mr. Juel Mandrell, 12495 Sterling Street, Benton, Illinois 62812.
