Earnest Gene Upton, Jr

Earnest Gene Upton, Jr., 41, of Benton; died at 1:14 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2011 in the Franklin Hospital Emergency Room in Benton.
Mr. Upton was born on April 29, 1969 in Silver City, New Mexico, the son of Earnest Gene Upton, Sr. and Elizabeth Jean (Williamson). He married the former Maryann Mata on January 30, 1985, and she survives.
Mr. Upton is survived by his wife Maryann Upton of Benton; eight children: Nissa Upton and husband James Stringer, Misty Upton, Whitney Upton, and Bo Upton, Russell Weeaks, Harley Weeaks, Victoria Weeaks, and Daisy Weeaks all of Benton; four grandchildren: Ira Gene Upton, Wyatt Upton, Cheyenne Upton and Jesse Upton, all of Benton; his father: Earnest Gene Upton, Sr. of Midland, TX; his grandparents: Jerry and Betty McCabe of Queens, New Mexico; two brothers: Richard Coffey of Sesser, Danny Gene Upton of Midland, TX; three sisters: Deanna Upton of West Frankfort, Missy Upton and Brandy Upton both of Midland, TX; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Upton was preceded in death by his mother: Elizabeth Jean Coffey, and his grandfather: Harold Williamson.

Mr. Upton's wishes were to be cremated.
