Kathryn Carol Collier

Kathryn C. Collier, 64, of Benton; died at 3:58 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in the St. Mary's Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon.
Per Mrs. Collier's wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are through the
Leffler - Poulson Funeral Home of Benton.
Mrs. Collier was born on July 24, 1946 in Effingham, the daughter of Theodore Dean and Violet (Shadwell).
She was a Manager for rental property on North Madison Street in Benton, a former gas station attendant, waitress, cook and cashier. Kathryn was a Christian.
Survivors include a son: John Collier of Benton; three sisters: Susan Howell of Benton, Margaret "Peggy" Summers of Marion, Terrie Chonka of Corpus Christi, TX; three nephews a niece and her many friends and adopted family.
She was preceded in death by her father Theodore Dean and her mother Violet Shadwell Jannone.
