Kevin R Warren

Kevin Ray Warren, 48, of Valier; died at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Leffler - Poulson Funeral Home of Benton, with Rev. Harl Ray Lewis and Rev. Harlen Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Phillips Cemetery near Ewing. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the Leffler - Poulson Funeral of Benton.

Kevin was born on September 12, 1963 in Benton, the son of Curt Warren and Gladys Olivia (Evilsizer).

He was a plumbing apprentice and a carpenter. Kevin was a member of the Southern Illinois Laborers Local Union, and he was a member of the Valier First Baptist Church.

Kevin is survived by his father Curt Warren and wife Jean of Benton, his step-father Ron Terry of Valier, a sister Sandy and husband Bo Shortland of Thompsonville, half-brothers Bryan Warren of Cornelious, NC, Darren Warren and wife Mandy of O'Fallon, MO, Ronnie Terry of Valier, Rex Oyston of Louisiana, a half-sister Evelyn Oyston of Orient; special nieces and nephews Travis Shortland, Emily Shortland, Christie Terry, Katie Terry, Noah Warren, Curtis Warren, Shelby Warren, Zachary Warren, Brady Warren; also several other nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his mother Gladys Olivia Terry on June 26, 2008, and a half-sister Jamie Oyston Laur.
