Phillip W. Kelley

Phillip Warren Kelley, age 86, of Benton, Illinois, passed away at 5:22 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Franklin Hospital of Benton.

Cremation services will be honored through the Leffler Funeral Home of Benton.

Phillip was born on April 28, 1939, in Carterville, Illinois; the son of Leslie and Lois Kelley. He married the former Phyllis June Kelley on April 6, 2015, and she survives.

Mr. Kelley formerly worked for the Railroad Tie Company near Mulkeytown, Illinois.

He enjoyed fishing, going for car rides with his wife Phyllis, vacationing in Wyoming and watching John Wayne movies.

Surviving is his loving wife Phyllis June Kelley of Benton, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Dick Kelley and Clifford Kelley.
