Sarita May Grace

Sarita May Grace, age 51, of Benton, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024, at her home.

Sarita was born on September 30, 1972, in Benton, Illinois; the daughter of Arthur Gunnells and Sarah (Wyrick) Jenkins.

She enjoyed shopping for clothes. She also loved the Christmas season. Sarita loved music and going to concerts. Her sister said that she attended at least 27 Led Zeppelin concerts.

Surviving is life partner Dean Hart of McLeansboro, IL; a son Damian Parker of Nashville, TN; a sister Elizabeth Rich and husband Matthew of Benton, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and five siblings: Jeff Jenkins, Larry Jenkins, Marty Gunnells, Ricky Gunnells, and Dianna Rogers.

Her wishes are to be cremated with future private family Celebration of Life services.
