Wendy Lambert

Wendy Marie (McDonald) Lambert, 41, of Benton; died at 5:25 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 at the St. Louis University Hospital with her family gathered around her.

As to her wishes, she chose alternative funeral services of cremation.

Wendy was born May 7, 1970 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the parents of Joyce (Gosnell) Chrostoski of Benton and Kenneth Patrick McDonald of Brooklyn, NY(deceased); and was the step-daughter to Walter S. Chrostoski of Benton.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Fires of Revival Church in Benton, and a graduate of Benton High School Class of 1989.

Wendy was a loving mother of two sons Nicholas Eli Lambert and Jakeb Bradley Lambert both of Benton, and are also the sons of Kevin Lambert and step-mother Nancy Lambert also of Benton, and devoted friend James Kirk of Benton.

Also surviving is her only sister Tammy Lynn (Foltz) Wemmer of West Frankfort and her only brother Robert W. Foltz of Chenoa, IL ; Nieces: Kristen (Lauth) Delong, Courtney (Foltz) Alburtis, Karmyn (Foltz) Matthews all of Chenoa, IL; Nephews: Adam Traylor of Benton, Chad Lauth of Chenoa, IL, Robert Kyle Foltz of Chenoa, IL; Great-nieces: Mya Rae Lauth, Alexis Joe Alburtis, Madelyn Elane Matthews all of Chenoa, IL; Great-nephews: Alvin Jakeb Lauth and Blake Delong both of Chenoa, IL.

Wendy was preceded in death by Grandparents: Alvin Amos Gosnell and Mamie Marie (Swatsell) Gosnell of Benton, IL; her only uncle: Billy Dean Gosnell of Canton, IL; three aunts: Maxine (Gosnell) James of Chillicothe, IL, Carolyn (Gosnell) Dothard of Peoria, IL, Jo Ann ((Gosnell) Groom of Spring Hill, TN, and a cousin: Carletta Ruth Dothard of Peoria, IL.
